How Do I Apply

To apply, please complete our online application form. You will be asked to provide information about your income, family size, and other demographic details. This information helps us ensure a diverse and representative group

Is it Free to Apply?

Applying is free, and we encourage all community members who represent the families we serve to apply. Our focus is on ensuring that our group reflects the diverse experiences and voices of our community. Join us to help make a difference!

Do I qualify?

To qualify for the Colorado Design Insight Group, your family must be located in Colorado and have an annual income of up to $150,000. You should be a parent or guardian who is passionate about sharing your feedback and insights to help create impact and change in our community. Join us in making a difference for families like yours!

How much do I get paid?

Community members will be paid a minimum of $30 an hour for the sessions they participate in, with the potential to earn up to $550 per calendar year. Payment may vary based on project and project needs. We will also provide a food stipend and travel stipend when applicable

How long does it take to get approved to become a community member?

The approval process on average takes 7 business days. To check on the status of your application or ask a question around the approval process, please email cdig@garycommunity.org

How often will I participate in giving feedback interviews, group sessions and surveys on programs?

While we cannot guarantee a specific number of sessions, feedback opportunities will be on an as-needed basis, where you have the option to sign-up based on interest, lived experience and availability. Most sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis. Your contributions are valuable, and we aim to compensate you as experts for your time and insights.

How do I get paid?

We partner with Tremendous to process payments, giving you flexibility in how you receive your compensation. You can choose to be paid via direct deposit, gift card, or other available options. This allows you to select the payment method that works best for you.

Does the money I earn count as income?

Because we pay up to $550 a year, community members do not have to count the compensation as income. However, if a special opportunity or circumstance arises and you earn more than $600 in a year, you will need to complete a W9 and claim the income.

How does my feedback and information get used?

The feedback and insights you share will be used to shape, build, or provide feedback on programs, systems and initiatives. To learn more about our privacy policy and data sharing, please click here.

What topics will I have the opportunity to provide feedback on?

Community members will have the opportunity to share feedback on a range of topics related to parenting, children aged 0-5, youth success for ages 5-18, and family economic mobility. Your insights will help shape and improve programs and systems that impact these important areas.
